Privacy notice

Business data. GST registration details shown on this site come from GSTN's public taxpayer search, which any person can query. We cache it to serve pages quickly and show the date it was last checked. Proprietors whose personal name appears as a legal name can ask for removal from the remove my data page.

Your mobile number. We ask for your name and mobile number to open full business reports, the vendor ITC check, the watchlist, reminders and reports sent to WhatsApp. If SMS verification is switched on, we send a one-time code to confirm the number. Alerts you asked for are service messages. We send promotional offers by SMS or WhatsApp only if you ticked the separate consent box, and we record when, from which address and the exact wording you agreed to. Reply STOP or write to hello@spense.tech to withdraw consent at any time.

Offers. Clicking an offer sends you to the lender or card issuer with an anonymous reference id so the partner can tell us if an application completed. We do not receive or store your application details.

Visit analytics. We set two first-party cookies: a random visitor id that lasts a year and a session id that lasts 30 minutes. With them we record which pages are opened, which GST numbers are looked up and which buttons and offers are clicked, along with the IP address and browser type. Once you enter your name and number, that history is linked to it. We use this only to run and improve the site, and no third-party trackers are involved.

WhatsApp. When you message our WhatsApp number we read the GSTINs you send and reply with their reports. Your WhatsApp number and profile name are stored like any other lead. Replies to your messages are service messages; promotions go only to people who agreed to them.

Credit score. If you ask for your credit score we collect your PAN, date of birth and PIN code and, with the consent you give on that page, request your report from CRIF High Mark or another credit information company. PAN is stored encrypted. The consent lasts six months and you can withdraw it by writing to hello@spense.tech.

Files and photos. Supplier lists and invoice photos are read in your browser. Only the GSTINs, supplier names and tax amounts are sent to us to check vendors; images are not uploaded.

Retention. Phone numbers and consent records are kept while your account exists and for 12 months after your last visit. Request deletion at hello@spense.tech.
